- Students who believe they have been unfairly treated by a faculty or staff member.
- Staff members who believe they have been discriminated against or harassed.
- Students or staff members who have witnessed or experienced misconduct by another student or staff member
What types of grievances are covered by this policy?
This policy covers a wide range of grievances, including:
- Academic misconduct (e.g., cheating, plagiarism)
- Discrimination (e.g., on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, etc.)
- Harassment (e.g., sexual harassment, bullying, etc.)
- Retaliation (e.g., taking action against someone who has filed a grievance)

How to file a grievance
To file a grievance, you should write the complaint via email and send it at info@lchomeopathy.com
Investigation process
Once a grievance has been received, the Grievance Officer will investigate the matter to its truest extent. The Grievance Officer may interview the parties involved, collect evidence, and consult with other relevant individuals, as deemed fit.
Resolution process
Once the Grievance Officer has completed their investigation, they will place the agenda in the meeting of Board of Directors. The BoDs then review the case and make a decision on how to resolve the grievance. The matter will be dealt along with one independent faculty / nominated member at the discretion of BoD.
Possible outcomes
The possible outcomes of a grievance investigation include:
- No further action required
- Formal warning
- Suspension
- Expulsion
- Other disciplinary action
Appeal process
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your grievance, you may appeal the decision to the BoDs directly.
Confidentiality
All grievances will be kept confidential to the extent possible. However, the Grievance Officer and other individuals involved in the investigation may need to disclose information to other relevant individuals in order to investigate the grievance and reach a resolution.
Anti-retaliation
LCH prohibits retaliation against anyone who files a grievance. If you believe that you have been retaliated against, you should immediately report the incident to the Grievance Officer.
Conclusion
LCH is committed to providing a fair and equitable environment for all students and staff. Our Grievance Policy and Procedure is designed to provide a process for resolving any complaints or concerns that may arise. Additional procedures for online homeopathic courses
In addition to the general grievance procedures outlined above, the following procedures apply specifically to online homeopathic courses:
- Students who have a grievance against a faculty member or staff member should first contact the faculty member or staff member directly to attempt to resolve the issue. If the issue cannot be resolved directly, the student should then contact the Grievance Officer.
- Students who have a grievance about the content of a course should contact the faculty member who teaches the course. If the issue cannot be resolved with the faculty member, the student should then contact the Dean of Online Learning.
- Students who have a grievance about the technical aspects of an online course should contact the LCH IT department.
